Selected for numerous emerging talent initiatives including a Black List Writers’ Lab in New York City, a BBC Masterclass and UK ScreenSkills mentorship, Dee is also a winner of the Filmarket Hub TV Pilot Contest and a ‘New Blood’ Competition, with a script on the ‘Blood List’. She’s also an ‘Athena List’, Vertigo Entertainment Award and Austin Film Festival Competition finalist, and an Academy Nicholl Fellowships and The Writers Lab UK & I semifinalist.
Five of her short film scripts have been commissioned and produced, one won her an award at the British Screenwriters’ Awards, and two of her original feature screenplays have been optioned. She was commissioned to write two audio drama scripts and, most recently, hired by one producer to write a feature screenplay, and by another to create the series treatments and pitch materials for a book to TV Crime Drama series adaptation. She continues to develop more original series idea treatments, pitches and pilot scripts.
